The annual report became a complete redesign project as the Port was brimming with new projects and developments. What that meant was the layout for the prior annual reports would not provide adequate space for copy and large images.

When designing a tab, which is multiple pages, either stapled or saddle stitched, your designs are created in quantities of 4 pages, so one sheet represents four individual pages. The challenge was to create enough real estate for each new development, without becoming too copy-heavy, and making sure it fits into the right numbers of pages. 

After two years of design adjustments, the client is able to utilize the template for new copy and images.
